Experts slam low-carb trend as rip-off: “low-carb diets that advocate piling on the animal protein and fat are ‘increasing the risk of developing cancer, heart disease, stroke, type-2 diabetes and other chronic diseases'” Anyone who thinkgs about it for even a moment knows that you need carbs. We get energy from carbs. Saying a diet is good because it helps you loose weight is like saying anorexia is good because you lose weight. Hey, if I want my hair to be spikey, I can use hair spray or I can stick my finger in the electrical socket. Using hairspray hurts the environment so if I want my hair to stand up AND be socially conscious then sticking your finger in the electrical socket is a good thing, right?
