Google is watching you

Google is watching you… I’ve always trusted Google, and I still do, kind of. But I was startled to see some Google ads while reading Gmail that were not releated to my current email, but instead were related to a search I had performed the previous day. Hmm… Google watches you and remembers your searches for future advertising. Check the link for details.

It leaves me self conscious about what I search for. If Google is going to profile me by my searches, do I really want to be known as the guy who searches for B52 lyrics? (what does, “Tin roof! Rusted!” mean, anyway?)
