Gmail’s Attachment Reminder

Just saw a cool new feature on gmail… if you include the word “attachment” in your message and don’t actually attach a file then Gmail will warn you stating that you mentioned an attachment but didn’t actually include one. See attached.

    Matthew, this is cool.

    How’s your diet/weightloss/exercise coming along?

Hey Joshua, well, dieting is going well, I’ll bet my numbers are much better when I go back. I had a foot surgery so I stopped walking for a few weeks but started back up yesterday and today. Keeping that going will be my biggest challenge. :-/

I’ve seen that feature in the release announcement for Gnome 2.20. Evolution does exactly the same thing now. I thought it is a pretty good idea─now I wonder who came up with it first ;-)

I was just informed that this is actually a feature of the “[Better Gmail](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4866)” extension for firefox and not abuilt in feature of gmail. What an awesome extension, get it if you’re using gmail much.
