The things you Google for define you: Cross reference a web-page I created that discusses an odd incident where Google showed ads unrelated to my current page but related with searches made the day before. Yes, someone does keep track of what you search for. Also, note that information you post to a message board or blog may be visible for many years. If you’ve not experimented with the Internet archive, you might be surprised that you can see web pages the way they existed many years ago, even though the pages have since been deleted off of servers.
