You do not have any energy to spare… I am not alone.

On a similar note, I just finished “Shadow of the Almighty.” Even though I knew what happened in the end (The men for whom Jim Elliot had prayed six years killed him) I still felt great sorrow. Here are two more quotes:
“…even though they were believers [they] were impotent because they had not been fervent in prayer and had lost their power.”
“How few, how short these hours my heart must beat – then on, into the real world where the unseen becomes important.”

How busy we are, dealing with squeaky wheels and other things in life that seem so important, but in the end, are really just a big waste of time.
