Well, it’s about time I modified my blogger template. I started with the stock template and modified it to suit my needs. Most of my changes were done at the CSS level. I did move the blogger button up to a more prominant place (it’s a nice shortcut for logging into blogger when your blog is your homepage) and added the CSS link. I should note that except for the banner ad code, the page is also XHTML 1.0 compliant.

I really didn’t mess with the positioning too much. There was a little extra space at the top of the document I wanted to get rid of, but otherwise everything is in about the same space. I snagged the colors from a glidden paint advertisement. Thanks Glidden.

I also changed the color scheme on my wife’s blog. She got her colors from her favorite kitchen trays.
