MattNuzum Stopping SPAM: Well, I’ve got a special folder in my e-mail program where I store up much of the SPAM I receive. I delete all viruses I get and sometimes I accidently delete some of my SPAM, but I collect most of it. So far, year-to-date I’ve collected 9488 unsolicited bulk e-mail messages. Let me be clear, any bulk messages that I’ve deliberately signed up for I’ve exluded from this folder. This is purely mail I have not asked to receive. That equates to about 35 messages per day. Total, this folder takes up 70 MB of disk space. Most of the spam offers me porn, enlargement of certain body parts or discount prescriptions.

I wish there was an easy way to stop it before it gets to my mail server. Everything that’s out there is either, intrusive, costly or difficult to install.
